Our founder, philanthropist Marie de la Soudiere was inspired to create Thea when she arrived in Manila. She wanted to give the underprivileged women there an opportunity to improve their lives and trained them to become seamstresses.

Each one of our night dresses for women is lovingly crafted in the homes of workers. By working from home they maintain a healthy work-life balance while receiving a guaranteed wage! Over the years, Thea has expanded into an international brand. But it maintained its ethical practices and continued to support and nurture each and every member of its team.
